How to edit your output video file on Mac?

1. Set output video and audio parameters

Free download Wondershare Mac Video Converter and install it, then click the Settings button to set the video and audio parameters. In the Settings dialog, you can adjust provides video and audio parameters to make your output video more conformable to your portable devices.

2. Preview, Snapshot, choose picture format for snapshot

You can preview each videos and capture pictures in the Preview window.

The Mac Video Converter Software supports two picture formats .JPG and .BMP. You can change to the other by openning "Options" button and choosing a format you want.

3. Apply to all, Merge into one file, rename output file

After selecting a format for output, click "Apply to all" and all the output video formats for chapters or titles you selected are the same as the selected format.

Merge into one file. Check "Merge into one file" to join all selected video files into one video after the conversion.

Change output video file name. You can rename the destination file in the File name field.

4. Trim segments

If you just want to convert clips from video movie, you can click the "Trim" button to capture a clip. In the Trim window, you can trim the length of the current video by dragging the Start Time and End Time sliders.

Note: You can also open the Trim Window by choosing Edit > Trim from the top menu bar.

5. Crop output video size

If the videos has black sides or you just want the certain scene, you can use this Crop function to remove them. Click the "Crop" button to open the Crop window, and set the video crop area by choosing optimized proportion from Zoom or dragging the crop frame or setting the four crop parameters (Top, Bottom, Left and Right).

Note:
a. You can also open the Trim Window by choosing Edit > Crop from the top menu bar.
b. Before you start to crop your movie video, you can select an output aspect ratio from the Zoom list. There are six choices available: Full Screen, Keep Original, 16:9, 4:3, Letter Box and Pan&Scan. After you select an output aspect ratio and finish the crop, the result can be previewed in the Preview Window of the program main interface.

6. Adjust effect of the output video

If you want to change the original video effect, you can click the "Effect" button to set the video brightness, contrast, saturation, and even audio volume. You can also apply a artistic effect to your movie video from the Filters including Gray, Emboss, Negative etc.

Note: You can also open the Trim Window by choosing Edit > Effect from the top menu bar.
